From 1st July 2011, responsibility for delivery of the RDPE socio-economic elements has transferred to the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra). Delivery of the Programme is continuing with Defra providing a stronger national lead on policy priorities and implementation supported through Defra RDPE Delivery Teams.
