Bactest Ltd was one of the first companies to receive Proof of Concept funding from EEDA.
This highly innovative company, which develops cost-effective microbial contamination testing equipment, was set up by microbiologists, Derek Price and Tony Carr in 2001 and has a core staff of three with a further ten employed as consultants.
