Skills and retraining
Being equipped with the right skills allows people to make a really telling contribution in their workplace. Not only does that benefit the business’ productivity, but it gives that individual a better chance to further their own career. That’s why EEDA offers a range of support to businesses looking to strengthen their employees through skills training.
Train to Gain
Train to Gain offers funding to businesses who want to improve their workforce’s basic skills levels in numeracy and literacy.
The government has announced the closure of the Train to Gain service which will end on 31 July 2011.
For more information call 08457 17 16 15 or visit the Train to Gain website.
Beyond 2010
EEDA’s £7.2 million Beyond 2010 programme helps small to medium-sized businesses give staff new skills to move the business forward.
Businesses can contact specialist sector advisors who are able to discuss training needs and agree with the business which training course will best meet their needs.
Up to half of the cost of training is available from EEDA and the European Social Fund. Interested? Find out more.
GradsEast
EEDA set-up GradsEast to help businesses in the East of England recruit talented graduates coming out of the region’s top universities. Find out more.
