Manufacturing Advice Service forms part of Solutions for Business - a highly targeted, publicly funded suite of products and services offering solutions to real business needs and tackling market failure
Manufacturing Advice Service in the East of England (MAS East) delivers significant measurable improvements to businesses by helping improve performance and productivity.
The service is delivered by fully qualified manufacturing professionals with direct industry experience across a range of manufacturing specialisms and sectors. It consists of five levels of support:
- free one-day diagnostic and advisory visits
- subsidised support
- referrals to technology or industry organisations
- access to an expert help line and web service
- information on regional events.
MAS East has a strong track record in delivering positive business improvement to companies across the region. Although any company can ask MAS East for advice, the service is primarily targeted at small and medium-sized businesses.
MAS East is an initiative managed by EEDA on behalf of the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS).
